Terms of service.

 

Company: Elaine & Beth Events LLC  Service Area: Greater DFW Area

1. Agreement By submitting a booking request and paying a deposit, you ("Client") agree to these Terms & Conditions with Elaine & Beth Events LLC ("Company"). This agreement is binding upon deposit payment.

2. Booking & Payment

  • A 50% non-refundable deposit is required within 48 hours of booking confirmation to secure your date

  • Remaining balance is due 7 days before your event

  • Failure to pay remaining balance may result in cancellation without deposit refund

  • Accepted payment methods: Squarespace Payments, Zelle, and Venmo

  • Payment via Zelle or Venmo constitutes acceptance of these Terms & Conditions. Clients are advised to retain payment confirmation as proof of transaction.

3. Cancellations & Rescheduling

  • All deposits are non-refundable

  • Rescheduling is permitted once, up to 7 days before your event, subject to availability

  • Cancellations within 72 hours of your event result in full balance becoming due

  • Company reserves the right to cancel due to circumstances beyond our control. In this case a full refund including deposit will be issued

4. Delivery & Logistics

  • Delivery and pickup windows are confirmed 48 hours before your event

  • Someone 18 or older must be present at both delivery and pickup

  • Client is responsible for ensuring adequate space and access for delivery

  • Late pickup requests are subject to availability and may incur additional fees

5. Rental Care Client agrees to:

  • Use items indoors or in properly shaded outdoor areas only

  • Keep items away from liquids, paint, slime, sharp objects, and food stains where possible

  • Supervise children at all times around rental items

  • Return all items in the same condition as delivered

6. Damage, Loss & Cleaning Client is responsible for:

  • Repair or replacement cost of damaged items beyond normal wear and tear

  • A cleaning fee of $25-$75 for spills, stains, food, art materials, glitter, or excessive dirt

  • Full replacement value for lost or unreturned items

  • All damage and cleaning assessments are communicated transparently within 48 hours of pickup

7. Weather Policy

  • Rentals cannot be placed outside in rain, mud, extreme heat, or high winds

  • All outdoor events must have a backup indoor option available

  • If weather conditions become unsafe, Company reserves the right to refuse outdoor setup

  • One reschedule is permitted due to weather, subject to availability

  • No refunds are issued due to weather conditions

8. Liability

  • Company is not responsible for injuries related to misuse of rental items

  • Adult supervision is required at all times during rental use

  • Client releases Company from any liability arising from event activities

  • Company is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

9. Governing Law These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Any disputes shall be resolved in Collin County, Texas.
